Bollywood's famous Khan family.

Let's start with the family tree of this Khan family. Salim Khan married Salma and the two gave birth to four children - Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, Alvira. Later, Sohail Khan married actress Helen and the two adopted Arpita.

Salim Khan originally wanted to be an actor. He even starred in quite a few films in small cameo roles. It was later that he started writing scripts.

After he paired up with Javed Akhtar, they wrote 21 Bollywood films together, including iconic ones like Zanjeer, Deewar and Sholay. Yet, hit script writer duo Salim-Javed split in 1987, over ego issues.

He was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh but traces his ancestry from Afghanistan. Salim Khan's father (Salman's grandfather) is said to have emigrated from Afganistan long ago. They had originally settled in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Later they migrated to Mumbai.

In 1964 Salim Khan married Salma Khan, formerly Sushila Charak, a Dogra Rajput from Mumbai. This was the first inter-religious marriage in the family.

A snap from the happy old days. Salim and Javed.

At the peak of her career Helen, an Anglo-Burmese, was known as an accomplished danseuse.

It was much later in 1981 that Salim Khan married his second wife Helen Jairag Richardson, Bollywood's original caberet girl.

Her father died during the Second World War. The family migrated to Mumbai in 1943 but her mother's salary as a nurse was not enough, and Helen had to quit her schooling to support the family. She retired in the 80s but appeared occasionally in films in cameo roles.

Helen first married Bollywood director P.N Arora in 1957 but the two split up in 1974 when reportedly Helen found out that he was spending her money without her consent.

In fact Helen became bankrupt during her marital life and her apartment too was seized.

Salman Khan finished his schooling at St Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai. He studied at The Scindia School, Gwalior for a few years along with younger brother Arbaaz.

Being the second wife in a household can be a tricky affair and thus it was for Helen.

Salim Khan's sons were not very happy with their father's second marriage and there was a lot of tensions between them. But eventually differences were cast away.

Salman Khan was born Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan in 1965. He's the eldest child of Salim and Salma Khan.

Salman Khan made his acting debut with a supporting role in the 1988 film Biwi Ho To Aisi. His first leading role was in Sooraj Barjatya's romantic film Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989, a film that turned out to be an all-time highest grosser.

In 2002 Khan was arrested for rash and negligent driving. His car had run into a bakery in Mumbai and killed one person who was sleeping on the pavement outside while running over 5 others.

Salman had spent 17 days in jail for the incident. He clarified later that he was not driving.

And within a few years, In 2006, Khan was sentenced to one year in prison for hunting an endangered species, the Chinkara

Salman had allegedly indulged in the poaching of chinkara, during the shooting of 'Hum Saath Saath Hai in Sumrasar and Bhirandiara villages.

Salman Khan has quite a reputation as a hot headed star. In fact he's got a number of brawls lot his name.

Salman Khan once got into a fist wight with Subhah Ghai. Not just that, Salman Khan is also rumoured to have hit many of his girlfriends.

Allegedly, Once when Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were having coffee together at a cafe in Bandra, they entered into a heated argument and in the fit of rage he slapped Katrina.

Salman Khan is Bollywood's ultimate playboy. The star is known to have had affairs with some of Bollywood's prettiest ladies - Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif.

He then directed both of his brothers Salman and Arbaaz in the hit film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998) and the less successful Hello Brother (1999) under his earlier banner G.S. Entertainment.

Sohail Khan eloped with Seema Sachdev in a true film style on the day of his movie, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya released.

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan have always been considered to be one of the most good-looking couples in Bollywood.

Their love story began on the sets of one of the most controversial advertisements in India for a coffee brand.

After dating for five years, they finally got married in 1998 and now they have a some named Arhaan.

They got married in two ceremonies, with Christian and Islamic rites, just to make the respective families happy.

On 1 July 2012, a 70-year-old woman was killed by a Land Cruiser owned by Khan (although he claimed to be not in the car at the time of the accident), and the woman's family demanded compensation from the actor. However, the Khan family has refused to pay compensation to the family, as the old woman had been disowned by them.

Arpita Khan might not have been born with a silver spoon; but destiny definitely made her the golden girl as she entered and became the youngest member of Bollywood's famous Khan family.

Arpita is the adopted daughter of Salim Khan. Some reports suggest that Arpita's mother had died on a footpath leaving the child alone.

It is a little unclear as to who adopted Arpita. Some reports claim that it was Salma while other claim that it was Helen who had picked up crying Arpita from the street, when she was a baby and later adopted her.

Arpita has been linked to quite a few bachelors of the entertainment industry.

Arpita finally tied the knot earlier this year with Aayush

Arpita has dated Arjun Kapoor, Angad Bedi and Nihar Pandya.

These childhood photos of Gautam Gulati will make you go awwww

Gautam Gulati, who is one of the contestants in Bigg Boss Halla Bol has made the ladies go berserk with his killer looks and of course those sexy 6-pack-abs. We came across some childhood pictures of the former Diya Aur Baati Hum actor, which show how cute Gauti looked in his growing up days.

These pictures were shared by Gautam‘s elder brother Mohit Gulati, who also talked about some childhood memories he had with him. “As a kid, Gautam was very naughty but very innocent too. Family was a priority for him and so he had very less friends. He was a shy person and being one and a half year older to him, I was little dominating over him. Personality wise we both have a contrasting nature, though that being the case we share a great rapport with each other,” Mohit was quoted by a portal.

Commenting about the contestants inside the house, Mohit says, “Apart from Gautam, Pritam (Singh) had a chance to win. But now I feel that he spoiled the broth. Karishma Tanna is very selfish, Ali (Quli Mirza) is a corrupt person, Dimpy (Ganguly) is good for nothing. So, if the makers don’t play a bad game with Gautam, he has a great chance to win this title.”

Well, we and a lot of viewers are also expecting Gautam to take away the covted title this season. Anyway, here take a look at some pictures from Gautam’s childhood and tell us how do you like them
